TSM MONITORING GUIDELINES
Updated *FEBRUARY 2008
Selections must be submitted prior to game time, so be on time,
no exceptions.
Your selections and the time received are posted in the computer. The TSM grading program compares that time with the scheduled game start time and voids the game if late.
TIME EXAMPLE
Pacific Time 2:00 = Central Time 4:00 = Eastern Time 5:00
Games monitored are to be the same game selections released to your clients.
Please try to submit all games at the same time.
Submit all games no later than 7:00 PM CT
***
Your selections can be e-mailed, faxed or called in.
E-mail address, fax and phone numbers will be provided when you become
a TSM Member Service.
This applies only if you are calling in your selections
and is meant to help eliminate mistakes in hearing what you say.
State your team only, not both teams. Use the full name of the team
(San Diego Chargers, not just the Chargers).
Please do not repeat the selections on the tape.
When submitting more than one sport, please say "in NFL" then give your picks, and in NBA.... and in College..., give your picks. March Madness College Basketball is graded in a separate category, so please list your conference games last when submitting your college basketball.
When submitting Football selections early for the weekend, please keep each sport together.
Submit in schedule order and include the game #.
When submitting a side pick & a totals pick, state your team & total.
Example, New England Patriots and New England to go over.
On totals where no side is used, please state the home team only.

THE LINE IS A MOVING TARGET FOR THE HANDICAPPERS AND THE PLAYERS
THE OFFICIAL TSM GRADING LINE
For uniformity the same line will be used to grade all handicappers.
TSM uses the Don Best web site www.donbest.com for our grading line.
We will track the line on game day.
The line must be posted at a minimum of three casinos to be used.
FOOTBALL
Football is the only sport where games can be graded by an early line. All other sports are graded by the line on game day.
Lines after 7:00 PM CT to 7:00 AM CT are not considered a playable line therefore are not considered in the early line grading.
If you submit a game during this time the grading line at 8:00 AM CT will the grading line. This line must be available at a minimum of three casinos.
If you are submitting your games to TSM with an early line to be used as your grading line it is assumed you are giving these same games to your players at that same time.
BASKETBALL
THE LINE IS TRACKED THROUGH OUT THE DAY
YOUR GRADING LINE WILL DEPEND ON TIME YOU SUBMITTED YOUR GAMES
BASEBALL
THE CLOSING MONEY LINE AT THE PINNACLE IS USED FOR GRADING PURPOSES.
Our intention is to grade the games by the same (or as close to as possible) line your clients will play against. If you release your games early and do not know exactly what the game day line will be, you do have the option of boxing in a line of choice. For instance your game can be minus no more than (?) or plus no more than (?). If (?) is not available on game day then your game selection is void (no play).
GO TO THE TSM FRONT PAGE FOR THE OFFICIAL GRADING LINE
Grading period
Monday thru Sunday, except NFL ends with the Monday night game.
ADDITIONAL GAMES ON THE SCHEDULE
Games involving 1 or more non-board teams must have a minimum of 3 casinos posting a line in Las Vegas or off shore to be included in the monitored record.

A PLAY IS A PLAY
Side picks and total (over/under) picks are added together for rank standing.
There is also a separate record for side picks and a separate record for totals.

STAR RATINGS:
Each star (1) is 100 if won and minus 110 if lost. There are two star ranges.
The first star range from is 1* to 10*
The star rating is the handicappers choice. For example some handicappers rate their selections 2*, 3*, 4* with the 5* graded as a top play. Your top play (if you have one) can be any star rating within the star ranges. Some handicappers rate their selections as all 10* and go into the second star range which is 11* to 20*.
The 11* to 20* range is limited to one pick per game day, plus one additional pick for the week, plus one additional pick for the month and one additional pick for the year. All picks in the 11* to 20* range are graded as a top play (POD, GOW, GOM AND GOY). The picks are not accumulative and must be used in the designated playing time. Example if you do not use an 11* to 20* on a given day you can not have two picks in that star range the next day. Unless you are using a GOW (game of week) or a GOM or GOY. If you used all of your allotted picks in the 11* to 20* range you could conceivable have 4 on one day, your POD, GOW, GOM and GOY.
TOP PLAYS: Top plays or best bets should be rare and special. There is a column for top plays on the reports.
