BASEBALL MONITORING RULES - STANDARD NEVADA REGULATIONS
Updated July 15, 2000
1. Baseball selections will be accepted in the following manner:
A. (ACTION) Team against team, regardless of the starting pitcher.
B. One Specified Pitcher - specifying one pitcher, regardless of the other starting pitcher.
C. Both Specified Pitchers - If starting pitchers are not exactly as listed, your selection will be deemed (NO ACTION).
Exception: Overnight pitcher changes
It will be the handicappers responsibility to notify TSM if your overnight pitcher did not start. The only games TSM will grade for pitcher changes will be the games where there is an actual pitcher change from the days starting line up.
2. In the event there is a pitcher change prior to the game, money odds may be adjusted. If one scheduled pitcher starts against an unscheduled pitcher, "ACTION" may be computed by the opening price with the new pitcher.
3. A pitcher is deemed a starting pitcher after throwing one pitch.
4. Game winners and losers are official after 9 innings of play UNLESS the home team is leading after 8 1/2 innings.
CALLED GAMES must go 5 innings or 4 1/2 innings if the home team is ahead.
IF A GAME GOES PAST 5 INNINGS and is subsequently called, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning. (EXCEPT in a case where the home team scores to take the lead in the bottom half of the inning in which game is called the runs do count)
5. TOTALS - OVER/UNDER SELECTIONS
In the event of a pitcher change prior to the game a totals play is deemed "NO ACTION" only if handicapper has boxed the pitchers. Or if there is no line posted for the total after the pitcher change. A game must go the regulation 8 1/2 or 9 innings.
If the game goes past regulation innings, and is subsequently suspended or postponed, it is considered "ACTION" and the winner or loser will be determined by the score at the time the game is called.
In the case where the home team does not bat (3 outs) in the bottom half of an extra inning game, the score reverts back to the previous full inning of play.
SELECTIONS ARE GRADED AGAINST THE FOLLOWING MONEY LINE
The 10 cent line is used if the favorite is under 200, the 20 cent line is used from 200 to 235 and the 30 cent line is used from 240. Totals are graded at 11/10.
